We invite you to the 3rd Slovakia-Poland Forum 13 June 2022 Najnowsze informacje Press Release Slovakia-Poland Forum The Institute for Eastern Studies, together with the Prešov Region, is a co-organiser of the conference of the 3rd Slovakia-Poland Forum, which will take place on 15th of June this year in Bardejovské kúpele, Slovakia. The partner of the event is the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Registration is available at the link: https://registration.skplforum.sk/ The aim of the 3rd Forum Slovakia-Poland conference is to build good relations and create opportunities for cooperation between partners from Slovakia and Poland. Discussions will be devoted to the current problems of Slovak-Polish relations and the challenges faced by these two countries together. The conference will feature four discussion panels: • Results and priorities of Slovak-Polish cross-border cooperation • Slovakia and Poland – united and solidary in the face of new challenges • Strengthening the transport infrastructure on the Polish-Slovak border • Prospects for the development of Polish-Slovak economic relations The 3rd Slovakia-Poland Forum will be opened by Milan Majerský, President of the Prešov Region (Slovakia); Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodship, and Marshal Marek Kuchciński, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. The conference will be attended by about 200 people, including representatives of governments, parliaments, political life, local governments, diplomacy, business, universities, analytical centers and think tanks from Poland and Slovakia.
