Author Meetings 2025
Author Meetings are a series of special events held during the Economic Forum. These gatherings offer an opportunity to explore the latest and most insightful publications and engage in direct conversation with their authors. We showcase books on a wide range of topics, including economics, politics, geopolitics, society, modern technologies and AI, reportage, fiction, academic works, and popular science, as well as present numerous international reports.
Each year, around 30 author meetings take place at the Forum. Over the past three years, our guests have included: Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk, Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska, Jacek Dukaj, Prof. Grzegorz Kołodko, Leszek Miller, Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz, Prof. Bogdan Góralczyk, Prof. Marcin Piątkowski, Prof. Jan Kreft, Prof. Tomasz Grosse, Prof. Michał Lubina, Prof. Jacek Wasilewski, Prof. Jerzy Stępień, Zbigniew Parafianowicz, and Prof. Antoni Dudek.
Each event follows a conversational format between the moderator and the author(s), with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. After the meetings, authors are available for informal discussions in the “Author’s Zone,” where Forum guests can also receive signed copies of the featured books. These events are open to all Forum participants — we warmly invite everyone to join!
