Mission of the Economic Forum
The Forum's mission is to build a friendly climate for the development of political and economic cooperation between the European Union countries and their neighbors. In fulfilling its mission, the Forum is independent and impartial.
After the enlargement of the European Union, the Forum not only did not lose its importance, but also found a new formula and gained a new quality of a bridge between the East and the West. The Economic Forum is a European voice in the debate on the affairs of Europe and the world. Every year, its sessions are reported by the largest Polish and world media.
Over the more than 30 years of organizing the Economic Forum, we have managed to create a space for dialogue, which, thanks to its unique atmosphere, has become one of the most frequently visited places in Europe by leaders of politics, business, science and culture.
The Forum hosts presidents, heads of government, ministers, politicians, local government officials, corporate executives, cultural and sports figures, renowned scientists, influential journalists, and representatives of non-governmental organizations. Every year, a thorough analysis of key trends, processes, and challenges helps shape a substantive Economic Forum program. This program includes over 550 events covering a wide range of crucial topics such as politics, innovative economy, sustainable development, civil society, environmental protection, and various aspects of security.
