Debate on the future of NATO in Vilnius

The next event of the project „NATO: 1949 – 1999 – 2019. The 20 Years of Poland in the 70 Years of the Alliance” will take place on Thursday, 31st of October in Vilnius.

The project has been financed by the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland within the framework of a competition “Cooperation in the field of public diplomacy 2019”. The Lithuanian partner of the project is General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania.

The role of Poland in the Alliance, the initiatives could be taken to enhance NATO‘s ability to adapt to a new security environment, the role of small states in sustaining and bolstering the Alliance coherence and improving situational awareness – these are just a few points that will be discussed during the session.
