Prime Minister Skvernelis will take part in the plenary session entitled ”A Europe of Common Values or A Europe of Common Interests?” which is also the main theme of the whole Forum.  The guests will discuss possible scenatios regarding the future of the European Union which is currently undergoing a period of reforms. There are those who see the EU as a community of democratic values, deeply rooted in the vision of her founding fathers. Others think of the Union as a bloc – a zone of free trade and they want as little influence of the European institutions on political, as well as constitutional issues of the member states as possible. Is it possible for one of those options to prevail for good?
