Discussing new technologies at the 3rd Industry Forum

The participants of the 3rd Industry Forum will talk about modern solutions which can be used in the various industry sectors.

The participants of the debate entitled Cheap Labour is Not Enough Any More. What Drives Economic Growth will discuss the factors which influence the growth of economy: from cheap labour to knowledge and innovation. According to the OECD data, innovations are responsible for two-thirds of the economic growth achieved by the developed countries. Further relying on a cheap labour strategy would result in reduced exports and consequently, rise in unemployment. Therefore, the innovations will inevitably and gradually be responsible for the economic growth.

During the panel discussion, Robert Brunet, researcher from  the University Rovira i Virgili, will present the main innovative aspects of 4.0 industry, such as Big Data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. More information about the presentation is available in the following publication.
