Stjepan Mesić will visit the 27th EF

Stjepan Mesić, President of the Republic of Croatia in 2000-2010, confirmed his participation in the 27th Economic Forum.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in 1961. In 1990 he became the Prime Minister. Between 1992-1994 he was a Speaker of the Sabor, Croatian Parliament. During his presidency Croatia became a NATO member. He was involved in a mission in Kyrgyzstan that aimed to reduce ethnic tensions. He is the author of 4 books.

At one of the Global Leadership Summit in New York, Stjepan Mesic stated that the main reason for many of today’s world problems, misunderstandings and divisions in international politics, constant tensions and conflicts is the erroneous, narrow and outdated concept of foreign policy that requires change.
