Post-industrial facilities – as new points on tourist maps of cities and regions

During 4th Industry Forum in Karpacz, a discussion panel will focus on development methods, as well as the role of facilities whose primary purpose was to use them in industry.

In many countries, post-industrial facilities are considered a testimony to the cultural heritage of the past years, and more and more of them are undergoing revitalization and transformation into facilities for other purposes. Examples show that such places, after being redeveloped, can become an attractive presentation point for the material culture of a given region or city adapted for tourist purposes.

Guests invited to participate in the panel: Post-industrial facilities – as new points on tourist maps of cities and regions, will try to answer the question what actions should be taken by state and regional authorities in the face of dynamic development of cultural tourism to support this trend and what role does business play in this industry? And also how to make tourist city maps more attractive by using post-industrial facilities?
