Małopolska Region

The Malopolska Region is the beating heart of Poland – historically, culturally and economically, what is more, our region is one of the most beautiful and most attractive tourist regions in Poland. It is here that the largest number of objects inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the largest number of national parks, as well as rich mineral water deposits are located in the country. The Malopolska Region is however more than only monuments, it also means a unique culinary heritage.

The strength of the region is due to its huge economic potential, the development of entrepreneurship and modern technologies, as well as infrastructural facilities that are growing every year. All the factors make the region an attractive place to invest and develop business, more and more often becoming the headquarters of Polish and international companies.

The Malopolska Region is also a leader in the fight for clean air and care for the natural environment. The projects and ideas implemented by the Region are aimed at minimizing the phenomenon of smog through the development of low-emission bus and rail transport, as well as the implementation of the objectives of the EkoMałopolska program.

The residents of the Region are undoubtedly the largest capital of the region, they themselves admit that they are satisfied with life in the Malopolska Region. It is here that they have perfect conditions to develop their talents, become educated at excellently prepared universities, improve their competences, and then set up families and work here. The wealth of the Malopolska Region families is our priority, therefore we implement a number of programs that support all Malopolska residents, especially families, together with the government.
