Olha Trofimtseva, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine will be a guest of the 12th Europe-Ukraine Forum

The Ukrainian Deputy Minister for European Integration in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Olha Trofimtseva, confirmed her participation in the conference in Rzeszów.

 

Olha Trofimtseva worked at the State University of Agriculture, as well as at AbiTEP GmbH and Wegweiser GmbH in Germany. She holds a doctorate from the Humboldt University in Berlin. She was an expert of the National Dairy Association of Germany, she also held the position of office manager at Agrotechnika GmbH. She led a project of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, which focused on consulting Ukraine on agricultural trade within the framework of the Free Trade Agreement with the EU.

In 2016 Olga Trofimtseva was appointed Deputy Minister for European Integration at the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food.

The Deputy Minister already spoke about the condition of agriculture in Ukraine during the Europe-Ukraine Forum in 2017. During this year’s edition of the conference she will take part in a debate entitled Investments in the agricultural sector – prospects for international cooperation. Trofimtseva will speak on the potential of Ukrainian agriculture, progress in the process of its modernisation and the impact of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU on the significant development of this sector of the economy. He will also talk about the current directions of cooperation between Ukraine and EU member states, as well as future plans for international cooperation, with an emphasis on joint actions of Ukraine and Poland.
