Minister of Environment – Kęstutis Navickas is the another confirmed guest this year`s Economic Forum i Krynica

Kęstutis Navickas is a Lithuanian politician and activist of non-governmental organizations, chairman of the Lithuanian coalition of ecological organizations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He has been in current office in Saulias Skvernelis cabinet since December 2016. Before he has been working for several educational and cultural institutions. He then held a number of positions in ecological organisations, among others he was a sustainable development expert and deputy director at Baltic Environmental Forum in the years 2006-2016.

Minister Navickas graduated from faculty of history at University in Vilnius. In 2009 he received a master`s degree in public administration at University of Michael Römer in Vilnius.

The head of Lithuanian Ministry of Environment will take a part in discussion panel titled: „The 21 Century Climate Diplomacy”. Guests will discuss main issues of possible climate policy directions. They will also try to fin dan answer to question how to reduce negative effects of climate changes?
