Lilyana Pavlova – minister responsible for the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council, will take part in the 28th Economic Forum in Krynica

Minister Liliana Pavlova, who coordinated the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council in the first semester of this year has confirmed her presence tot he upcomng Economic Forum.

Mrs. Pavlova is one of the most important and recognized personalities in Bulgarian politics. Despite her young age, she managed to gain a considerable political experience. She was Minister of Regional Development and Public Works in two cabinets headed by Prime Minister Boyko Borysov (between 2011-2013 and 2014-2017). She belongs to the GERB Party. She holds a PhD in economics. In 1996 she started her political career at the Institute for Development and Democracy. In 2009, she became the deputy minister of regional development responsible for the management of EU funds. In 2017, Prime Minister Borisov entrusted her with a responsible mission to manage and coordinate the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council.

Minister Pavlova will take part in the discussion panel on EU Cohesion Policy after 2020
