Former advisor to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, at the 30th Economic Forum in Karpacz

 

Andrei Ilarionov, a former adviser to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, took part in the 30th Economic Forum in Karpacz, and participated in the panel “Putin 2021 – what next?”.

From April 12, 2000, to December 27, 2005, Andrei Ilarionov was an adviser to Russian President, Vladimir Putin, on economic affairs. He led to the adoption of the law on a uniform flat tax of 13% in 2001. From April 1992 to April 1993, he was the first deputy director of the Working Center for Economic Reform at the Government of Russia, and in 1993 he was the head of the analysis and planning group at the Prime Minister of Russia, Viktor Chernomyrdin. He participated in the preparation of the privatization program.
