1st EUROPE - RUSSIA ECONOMIC FORUM

Krynica Zdrój, April 14-16, 2005

After the enlargement implemented in May 2004 the European Union faces new challenges, some of which pertain to dialogue with Russia. Russia itself, after a decade of changes, has to redefine its role in politics, especially in the European dimension. The role and hope of the organizers of the Europe-Russia Forum is to create optimal conditions for dialogue between the EU and Russia, which could help shape the character of European-Russian relations in the spirit of cooperation and partnership.
