Rokas Maciulis – about european transport in Krynica

Rokas Maciulis – head of Lithuanian Ministry of Transport and Communications will attend this year`s edition of Economic Forum in Krynica.

Minister Maciulis has been in office since the 2016. In the years 2014-2016 he was Minister of Energy in Algirdas Butkevičus cabinet. Prior to his political career he was a high level manager in commercial sector. Minister Maciulis used to work for the largest global audit companies as well as for energy-petroleum industry.

In 1994 he received a master`s degree in intenational relations and political science at the University of Vilnius. In the years 1989-1994 he was also studying economy at the same University.

Minister Maciulis will take a part in panel discussion titled: „Transport Infrastructure in Europe for the Next Decade”. Panel`s guests will discuss key transport issues which remains one of the most important challenges for economic development in the old continent.
