The President of the Italian International Affairs Institute will be the guest of the 27th Economic Forum

Fernando Nelli Feroci, the President of the Italian International Affairs Institute (IAI), one of the most prestigious world think tanks, confirmed his participation in this year’s Forum in Krynica.

Fernando Nelli Feroci has an impressive diplomatic career behind him. He was among others the permanent representative of Italy to the European Union (2008-2013) and the head of the Cabinet (2006-2008) and the Director General for European Integration (2004-2006) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He served in diplomatic missions in New York, Paris, Algiers and Beijing.

After the resignation of Antonio Tajani Feroci he was appointed to the post of European Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship and held it until the end of the mandate of the Commission chaired by Jose Manuel Barroso.

Professor at many universities in Italy and abroad, such as Harvard University, Naples L’Orientale University and University of LUISS in Rome.
