In March 2006 another publication of Eastern Institute was released. The Russia 2005 report is a collective work under the guidance of Konstantin Simonow, director of the Center for Current Politics in Moscow. The center is a widely known independent research institute in Moscow.
The report provides a unique perspective on Russian politics and is a source of valuable information about political, social and economic developments in Russia.

On June 7th the report was presented in Brussels to Members of the European Parliament.
