Advisor to the Italian Prime Minister will be the guest of the 3rd European Congress of Local Governments
Emilio D’Alessio, Spokesperson of Gruppo 21 – Local Agenda 21 Italy, former Deputy Mayor of the city of Ancona, will be guest of the 3rd European Congress of Local Governments (27-28 March 2017).
Emilio D’Alessio is architect, spatial planner, urban critic and sustainable development advisor. He has been President of the Board of Architects of Ancona from 1992 to 1997 and Italian delegate to the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE/CAE) from 1995 to 1997.
In 1999 he was among the founders of the Italian Local Agenda 21 Association, a network of 400+ Italian Local Authorities devoted to sustainable development. In March 2005 he was elected President of the Association, title held until 2009.
He is also a member of the advisory group for european policies at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Italy.
